Project Description
The Broad Institute, in collaboration with Nicholas Rhind at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, sequenced the Schizosaccharomyces japonicus strain yFS275 genome at 9X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. The current assembly (Assembly 1) consists of 172 contigs in 20 supercontigs. The Schizosaccharomyces japonicus strain yFS275 genome will undergo automated annotation.
